In any week in December, there are a million holiday parties going on, at home, at work, with friends and family.
During one particular week in December, two Drop In & Decorate® parties, hosted by food bloggers on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean, delivered spectacular cookies to programs serving children and their families.

In Germany, Meeta, of the wonderful blog What's For Lunch Honey?, who had hosted her own Drop In & Decorate party last year, worked with her son Soeren's teacher to organize a cookie decorating party at his elementary school. Cookies went to the Weimar Clinic children's ward. Please visit Meeta's blog for more wonderful photos and more about their event.

And, in New York City, Maris, who writes the lovely blog In Good Taste, and a group of friends hosted their first cookie decorating event, with cookies donated to Ronald McDonald House of New York. Please visit Maris' blog for more of her story and photos.
The food blogging community has been so great about helping to spread the word about Drop In & Decorate. Special thanks to Meeta and Maris, and to other food bloggers who've hosted their own cookies-for-donation events.
