In Conroe, Texas, teens and adults from Grace Crossing Church of Christ decorated and donated more than 12 dozen sweet heart cookies at their first Drop In & Decorate® party. On Valentine's Day morning, they delivered their cookies to The Mansions in the Forest, a local 55+ community.
Thanks to Leigh Ann, who organized the event and wrote:
We decorated on February 13 (Friday evening) and packaged and delivered on Saturday morning, letting the cookies dry overnight. We had a lot of
teens helping decorate (as you can see from the pictures) and we ended
up finishing all 163 cookies in about 20 minutes... so next time I'll have to be sure to ask the people who baked to bring lots of cookies! We took
them over to a 55+ community, who just loved them. It was lots of fun, and we do plan to continue several times during the year. Thanks so much for your encouragement!
To all of the bakers and decorators at Grace Crossing Church, a big thank you for being such great valentines!

These look beautiful! It looks like a lot of hard work went into those cookies.

Oh, I wish I would have known about that. I'm not all that far from there!

I love that these cookies went to a 55 plus community. They will be talking about the event for weeks. Congratulations.
