Each month, the wonderfully community-minded folks at Gallery Z spotlight a local nonprofit organization in their public art window on the main street of Providence's famed Federal Hill neighborhood.
They also throw a party and invite all of their art-loving friends to eat, drink, and learn more about each organization.
For the month of September, Drop In & Decorate -- recently named Best Culinary Cause in Rhode Island -- will be featured in the gallery's Art, Food & Wine to Create Awareness for a Cause, and we're inviting all of our friends to the party, and that means you.

We've put our own spin on the event, with help from some generous local businesses.
Enjoy wines from Gasbarro's Wines and comfort-food appetizers from Ruth's Chris Steak House.
Then, take home cookies and milk provided by our friends at Eastside Marketplace and Rhody Fresh.
If you live or work near Federal Hill, be sure to check out the Gallery Z public art window, beginning September 2, and stop into the gallery, where there's always interesting art on exhibit.
