We always say that every cookie donated through a Drop In & Decorate® event is a work of art.
And, for one wonderful evening, we all felt like artists at Gallery Z, a fine arts gallery in Providence, Rhode Island, that hosted a reception to celebrate our organization and the gallery's public art window program.
Special thanks to owner Berge Zobian, public art window coordinator Taylor Manter, and the entire staff of Gallery Z for hosting the September 24 reception.
Without contributions from terrific local sponsors -- Gasbarro's Wines, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Eastside Marketplace and Rhody Fresh -- the evening would not have been possible.
And additional thanks go to our own volunteers, Cindy Salvato and Nicole Maranhas, who coordinated the event with the Gallery Z staff. We raised $250 to help fund cookies-for-donation events all across the country.
