Martha sent this note from our first-ever Drop In & Decorate® event in Kansas earlier this week:
Here are the cookies we made for SAFEHOME (a domestic violence shelter serving the Kansas City area).
My friends are camera shy, but the turkeys are real "hams". If you're keeping count, we made 72. The cookies are Dorie Greenspan's World Peace Cookies, made with Pillsbury unbleached flour. I thought it was appropriate because I found out about Drop In & Decorate on Dorie's blog and of course we all want the world to be a better place. Peace!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Martha, you have made Thanksgiving happy for the women and children served by SAFEHOME. Special thanks to you and your friends!

Martha, I'm so touched that you used my recipe for your cookies for SAFEHOME, and so happy that they were enjoyed. Thank you for being part of the wonderful Drop In & Decorate world.
