Icing 101: A free demo in the Drop In & Decorate kitchen

If you'd like to learn how to make, color, and decorate with royal icing for your Drop In & Decorate sugar cookies, please join us on Saturday, November 28, 10:00 a.m., in Lydia's kitchen in northwest Rhode Island.

Lucia Watson, a member of our Board of Directors and, for the past eight years, icing maker extraordinaire for all of our December and Mothers Day flagship events, will demonstrate how to make and color the icing we use to decorate our sugar cookies.

We'll have some cookies available so you can practice simple decorating techniques you can teach to your friends and family.

Yes, we'll try to take video, to share with those who are not in our local area.

Space for the November 28 demo is very limited, so please RSVP to Lydia (lydia AT ninecooks DOT com, or 401-567-4460). We are located 30 minutes from Providence, 75 minutes from Boston, in Glocester, Rhode Island.
