Melissa sent this lovely note and photos from her recent Drop In & Decorate® party:
I read an article in the Boston Globe Magazine that discussed your organization and thought participating in it would be the perfect way to introduce my children to acts of kindness as well as have fun with our friends and neighbors.
Here are a few shots from our Drop In & Decorate party on Sunday. We decorated Halloween-themed cookies for the families of Marguerite's Place here in Nashua, New Hampshire. It is a transitional housing program for women and children.
We had a terrific time and delivered the cookies this afternoon. I made everything as directed on your site and it worked out perfectly -- although I way overestimated our icing needs. I could probably bake 3 dozen more cookies!
We will definitely do this again -- I think the moms had as much fun with it as the kids.
Special thanks to Melissa and all of her friends who decorated and donated!

These cookies look great! I love how hard all of the kids are concentrating in these photos - artists of the future :)

This is a perfect way to show children how to give generously with hearts and hands. I love this!
