First event in Iowa donates cookies to domestic violence shelter

Kristi sent this wonderful note with photos from our first-ever event in Iowa:

The Church of Christ Leadership Training for Christ youth of Burlington, Iowa, decorated cookies for YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter families on Sunday, December 13, 2009.

The cookies were delivered today and they were thrilled to get them. We were thrilled to make them. It was a great time!!! 

I will try to get pictures of the actual cookies--some were quite impressive!! Our camera went down during the decorating, but some of the kids took pictures with their cell phones!
