Nebraska snowstorm can't stop the cookies

Earlier this month I received a note from Steph, in Louisville, Nebraska, that says so much about the dedication of our cookie decorators around the country:

Our 4-H group, Country Crickets, had planned to do a Drop In & Decorate, but due to winter weather here, school was called off and we had to cancel 4-H. Since we had already promised cookies to the soup kitchen, my boys and I baked and decorated a little over 100 cookies that a local church then served at the Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach soup kitchen.

We had a great time doing it. I would like to do this again next year with our 4-H group.
