Cheryl, in St. Louis, Missouri, writes the blog Tidy Mom, and she hosted two Drop In & Decorate® events this month. She baked all of the cookies at one time, and split them into two batches -- in other words, two parties! Bahrs Discount Foods donated supplies, Pillsbury Baking donated coupons, and the local newspaper is writing a story about the events. Cheryl sent along this note and shared her photos.
The first batch was decorated and donated to A.L.I.V.E. (domestic abuse support). They wanted the cookies in bags of six, so we put them in large zip lock bags, and I made labels to put on each bag. If you are participating and would like to use my labels, you can download them here for free, they work with Avery labels 5163.
The girls did a fantastic job and said “It feels good to know that you’re giving back, maybe make someone smile.. and.... it was fun!” See lots of fantastic photos and read more about the party here.
The second batch was donated to The Agape Food Pantry. You can read all about it and see more photos here.
Cheryl, you and your helpers (young and old) are rock stars! Thank you so much for brightening the holidays for so many in your community.

Thanks for posting this Lydia!! We had so much fun and both organizations were VERY appreciative!!
Can't wait to do it again sometime!

The cookies look beautiful and fun. What's that book of tree designs? Where can I get one?
Thanks,
