Despite bad weather, New York friends gather to do good

Pam sent along some great photos from her Drop In & Decorate® party in Cheektowaga, New York. She wrote, "We made 75 cookies that were donated to the St. Luke Lutheran food pantry to be given out to the community. It was fun, and the cookie recipe was awesome."

Special thanks to Pam and her friends, who didn't let the weather stop the cookies from getting to the local food pantry.

i happened upon this website when i was researching some recipes for my spice rub company...
i shared the site with my girl scout troop and we decided to incorporate a "drop in and decorate" event with our "girltopia" project for girl scouts. we are so excited to be hosting our 1st cookie decorating event in conjunction with our annual santa monica neighborhood girl scout international day tomorrow, 2-21-10! we are expecting 150-250 scouts, family members and siblings to "make a cookie to donate and take a cookie to eat!" a local women's shelter will benefit from our sweet treats...we cannot wait to share more details. i am so glad i "stumbled upon this" great charity concept!
