Tracey hosted her first Drop In & Decorate® event in Chico, California, and shared this report and lots of wonderful photos:
I first read about Drop In & Decorate on TidyMom, a blog I follow, and loved the idea.
I invited some of my daughter's friends and their moms over to help us decorate cookies, and we ended up with 80 adorable cookies to donate to Catalyst, a local non-profit here in Chico, California, that helps victims of domestic violence and their children.
The people at Catalyst loved the cookies and I left with such a wonderful feeling, helping others is addictive and this made me want to volunteer again.
Tracey, special thanks to you and your rock-star decorators (and their moms!). The cookies are lovely and I'm sure the families at Catalyst were so excited to get them. We also love that all of the decorators signed their names on the delivery box -- that's an idea we're going to borrow!
