"The Bake" isn't a dance.
It's much better than that!
"The Bake" is what happened when members of the Pastry Arts Club at Johnson & Wales University in Providence got together to roll out, cut out and bake 900 cookies for Drop In & Decorate's flagship event in early December.
Under the leadership of Chef Christina Harvey, and with assistance from former JWU pastry instructor (and Drop In & Decorate Advisory Council member) Cindy Salvato, the students accomplished in hours what it used to take us five whole days to do in our home kitchen. How cool is that?
Special thanks to the Chef and the Pastry Arts Club for helping us share the cookie love with hundreds of families and kids throughout Rhode Island. (We'll post photos from the decorating part of this event later in January.)
