Louisiana camp friends host first cookie decorating event

Thanks to Susannah for sending this photo and note about our first-ever Louisiana Drop In & Decorate® event:

Happy New Year! We hosted a dozen girls who go to camp together every summer at Kahdalea in Brevard, NC. They will all be counselors this coming summer! They decorated six dozen cookies for Assisi Bridge House in Schriever, Louisiana, to go with gumbo and potato salad we made for the men who live there.

We packaged the cookies in cellophane bags so it looked festive and fun, and delivered it all on Dec. 27--the Sunday after Christmas. They were very appreciative, and we had fun doing it.

Susannah, it looks like a great party! Special thanks to you and your friends -- you are stars!
