"Virtual" Drop In & Decorate event donates real cookies in Texas and around the country

One of the best cookie decorators in the food blog world, Bridget writes the cookie blog Bake at 350 from her Houston, Texas, kitchen, and we often ask her for advice on all things related to decorating cookies with flooded Royal icing.

This year, Bridget hosted the first-ever virtual Drop In & Decorate® event, inviting bloggers to host cookies-for-donation parties in their own communities and to blog the results.

We've posted about some of the events here, but not about Bridget's own cookies and donations to two agencies in the Houston area. To read about that and the other participants in this virtual party, and for photos of the absolutely gorgeous cookies (we are borrowing some of these ideas!), please visit Bake at 350.

We had such a great time and it felt SO good to give those cookies away. I was blown away by the response that we received from blog readers...they were amazing!
