What happens when you put kids and beautifully decorated, delicious sugar cookies in the same place at the same time?
(As if you didn't already know the answer to that one!)
These kids are among the more than 500 who received cookies through the Rhode Island Community Food Bank as part of the Drop In & Decorate® event hosted by Rhode Island School of Design in January.
The Food Bank distributed the cookies through their Kids Cafe program, which serves hot meals to children at risk of hunger.
It's not often that we get to share photos of the actual recipients of Drop In & Decorate cookies. Most often, event hosts deliver the cookies to an agency, and the agency decides how and when to give out the cookies to their clients. Special thanks to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank for making these photos available to us.
I don't know about you, but I want to make people smile like this all the time.

How good it is to see all those smiles! They complete the circle from the smiles I see when we are decorating.
