Stephanne hosted her first Drop In & Decorate® party in Dallas last week, and sent wonderful photos with this report:
A couple of Christmases ago, my friends and I did a girls' night decorating cookies and cupcakes, but we made them for ourselves. I didn't find your blog until later and had been wanting to do this ever since.
I made sugar cookies and tried to go with a summer theme. After lots of sprinkles and a rainbow of royal icing later, we ended up with 100 beautiful cookies to give to The Family Place. There were only 5 of us (I'm the one in white) and I thought it would take us longer to decorate 100 cookies but we cranked them out pretty fast once we got a rhythm going!
To show my appreciation for the girls who were able to come by and decorate, I gave them a mini cookie decorating kit with a cookie cutter, sprinkles, and a cookie shaped in their initial!
Here's a picture of my royal icing carousel/lazy Susan, which of course was inspired by your holder! I just got a lazy Susan from IKEA and got my friend to drill holes it. She even decorated it for me! The only problem with that was that the nozzles were too tall when placed in the holes, so I just placed a book underneath to make it taller and spin around!
Thank you, Stephanne and friends, for donating such beautiful summery cookies. We'll be borrowing some of your cookie designs!

Beautiful!!! I love your cookies, your decorating set up, the gifts for your fellow decorators, your icing rack! Thanks for being part of the Drop In 'gang'!
