What are these women doing?
They're designing cookies -- on paper -- at the Avery® SocialLuxe Lounge, a party for 350 women bloggers in New York City on August 5.
Thanks to the generosity of the event organizers, Drop In & Decorate was the designated charity of the evening. We couldn't decorate actual cookies at the event, so we invited attendees to stop by and draw their cookie design for the Center Against Domestic Violence of New York. We'll make and donate those cookies later this year.
It was a great party, and a great evening for us as we got to distribute our new cookie idea book, produced with support from Pillsbury® Baking. Everyone loved the book, which shows 25 of our all-time favorite Drop In & Decorate cookies, and tells people how they can get involved by hosting an event in their own community.
Special thanks, too, to Crayola, for donating boxes of crayons to give out with our cookie books.
Thanks to the more than 100 women (and a few men!) who created cookie designs. And thanks to SocialLuxe Lounge, for inviting us to the party.

Wow! Very awesome that you were the designated charity! Congrats!

We were SO HAPPY to have you at the event! When you were setting up your booth before the party started, every time I looked over it just made me so happy. This was our first year incorporating any kind of charity into the event....and I'm so glad we did and want to keep that a part of SocialLuxe from her on out. And I loved what you guys did - it was AWESOME. THANKS FOR BEING A PARTY OF SOCIALLUXE!

I wish we could have been there! It looks like a wonderful event. When and where are the cookies being made?
