“Thank you for the extraordinarily beautiful holiday cookies that you prepared and delivered to the Crossroads Rhode Island Family Center. For the fourth year in a row, your group has brightened the holidays for homeless families who are unable to provide their children with the wonderful treats that make the winter holidays so special and memorable.”

Shari hosted her first Drop In & Decorate® event, delivering cookies for Valentine's Day to Ronald McDonald House at Riley, in Indianapolis. She shared these adorable photos and a report:
Just wanted to thank everyone for their help and participation. I think our little cookie decorators did a wonderful job.
The people at the Ronald McDonald House at Riley were so appreciative. There were a couple of families in the house when we delivered them and they were so excited to have something sweet to melt their troubles away. One family has ten children and one of their girls was under Riley's care.
I had no idea they needed so much help from the community to make things warm and inviting for the families during hard times. You can donate food pantry items, bottled water, make lunch/ dinner, etc.
We donated over 150 cookies and they said they would be surprised if the cookies lasted more than a 24 hours!
Thanks again for your help. This was fun!
Shari, what a wonderful decorating party! Thanks to all of the talented kids and adults who made so many families at Ronald McDonald House feel loved for Valentine's Day.
Co-workers Melissa and Jessica hosted their first Drop In & Decorate® event just in time for Valentine's Day, and shared this report:
We hosted a Valentine’s decorating event for S.A.F.E Houston with 3 of our friends. S.A.F.E. hands out bagged lunches for homeless young adults who have aged out of the foster care system the first Saturday of every month. Instead of packaged chocolate chip cookies, they got decorated cream cheese cookies! We decorated over 100 cookies and delivered 50 bags of cookies.
We also donated a plate of Nutella cookies for the volunteers to enjoy.
We received this note from S.A.F.E: "I want to THANK each of you for coming out and making S.A.F.E. Saturday a success, by donating of your and/or food and drink!! We filled 50 bags to distribute to homeless young adults (18-24). Everyone enjoyed the cookies donated by the "Drop in & Decorate" group. Thank you again for spending several hours of your Saturday to help those less fortunate than we are."
We’re hoping to plan another event for our office in the next coming months!
Melissa and Jessica, and your friends: you are rock stars! Thanks so much for making so many young adults feel loved on Valentine's Day.
"Thank you doesn't begin to say how we feel about the beautiful cookies we received today. They are a work of art and a special gift for the women of Abby's House. We will give them out tomorrow at our Mother's Day luncheon. We are so excited to have them as they will add that special touch to the tables and a festive feeling for the day."
